Smith Embankment Development

Plans are progressing for a £30 million investment in new quayside infrastructure. The exciting project will provide 250 metres of additional deepwater berthing and 13,000 square metres of adjacent reclaimed land. It is hoped that a contract can be awarded in mid 2008 with completion scheduled for January 2010. The project is subject to obtaining statutory consents and finalising a finance and grant package.
