PORT HENRY BASIN

Accessed via North Harbour, the Port Henry area offers 740m of quayside with depths varying from two to three metres chart datum. 

The North Base provides a wide range of services to the construction and diving support sectors of the oil industry.

South Harbour is a 350m working quay with minimum depth of 6.5m. 

The South Base facilitates the prompt and efficient turnaround of vessels servicing the logistical requirements of the offshore oil and gas industry. 

The Tanker Jetty was designed to accommodate oil tankers of up to 40,000 tonnes deadweight, delivering fuel oil to the nearby Peterhead Power Station.

Boasting a quayside length of 120m, width of 40m, an adjacent working area of 16,000m², and water depth of 10m, Smith Quay is used by many industries, such as subsea, renewable energy, oil and gas decommissioning, and the important pelagic fishing sector.

Peterhead Bay Marina is a purpose-built leisure facility catering for local and visiting boatowners.

North Harbour is entered from South Harbour through the recently widened junction canal, which is spanned by the newly reinstated Queenie Bridge.

Sheltered by a rock-armoured breakwater, Albert Quay, including East Quay, provides 340m of all-weather deepwater berthing.

The Princess Royal Jetty handles vessels servicing the offshore oil and gas industry.
