PORT ROAD WORKS

ShowHide dashboard

Please see traffic management proposals for McLaughlin and Harvey and MTM Construction works planned for the week of 7th-11th November. Queenie Brig will be manned throughout the day.

Alexandra Parade will be closed at the Fishmarket from 0600-1800 to allow a large crane and mobile grout pump with 10m wide footprint to be set up on the road. Due to safety risks and tide times, works must be completed during the day.

Temporary traffic signals will operate on south pier while the top layer of road surface is removed and replaced with Glasstex membrane and asphalt. MTM Construction have engaged two other sub-contractors in the completion of this section of works to ensure they are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We trust port users will not be adversely affected by these road works / closures and we appreciate everyone's co-operation and support during this time.
