Damage to Bay Marina

To all Berth Holders

Following an unprecedented and sustained period of severe weather, we regret to inform you that significant damage has been sustained across several pontoons and finger berths within the marina. Our inspections have identified structural compromises that present both safety risks and operational challenges.

For your safety, and to allow our teams to complete assessments and organise urgent repairs, we are requesting that all berth holders minimise visits to the marina until further notice.

Where access is essential - for example, to check on your vessel - we ask that you contact the Marina Office beforehand. Staff will advise you of any restricted areas and ensure that you can access your berth safely where possible.

Our maintenance staff and contractors have been mobilised, and we are working to restore full functionality as quickly as weather conditions and resources allow. We will keep you updated with progress and expected timescales.

We appreciate that this situation is inconvenient and potentially concerning, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure the safety and integrity of the marina.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the Marina Office.

We aim to keep mariners up to date with the fullest information about PPA procedures, berthing arrangements, bathymetric data, pilot transfer arrangements and towage guidelines. Please see the relevant documents below.
